Also, don't forget to turn the printer off when you are no longer using it.

=== Windows Drivers ===
Windows users will need to [https://www.lulzbot.com/support/TAZ install drivers.]

=== Usable Print Area ===
298mm x 275mm x 250mm (11.7in x 10.8in x 9.8in)
=== Host Software ===
Users of Linux, Windows, OSX will need to install the following software:
* [https://github.com/kliment/Printrun#getting-printrun Pronterface] - or [http://www.repetier.com/download/ Repeteir-Host] for manual operation of the printer as well as for starting print jobs
* [http://slic3r.org/download Slic3r] - for creating gcode (print jobs) from 3D models
* Additionally, Lulzbot provides a [http://devel.lulzbot.com/TAZ/2.1/software/2013Q4/slic3r/config/pt35mm-nozzle/medium_ABS_no-support_pt35nzl_pt2-layer-height_config.ini slic3r config file] for the Taz3

== Suggested Settings ==

Both of these files have appropriate settings for the 'printer settings' and 'filament settings' tabs. To use them, go to File > Load Config in Slic3r and select the downloaded file. You must then go to each tab and hit the 'save' icon next to the settings selection dropdown box, or else Slic3r will forget the settings when you close it.

==== Print Settings Without Support - Fast ====

[[File: Taz3_print_settings_NO_SUPPORT.ini]]

This file is for the 'print settings' tab of Slic3r. This is a 'fast' profile, geared towards finishing prints relatively quickly. It still provides excellent surface quality. This profile does not include support, so for large overhangs you'll need the next configuration file.
=== Windows Drivers ===
For everyone else, It Just Works™. Where everyone = Linux and OSX users.

=== Usable Print Area ===
200mm x 190mm x 100mm
(7.9in x 7.5in x 3.9in)
Users of Linux, Windows, OSX will need to install the following software:
* [https://github.com/kliment/Printrun#getting-printrun Pronterface] - or [http://www.repetier.com/download/ Repeteir-Host] for manual operation of the printer as well as for starting print jobs
* [http://slic3r.org/download Slic3r] - for creating gcode (print jobs) from 3D models
* Additionally, Lulzbot provides a [http://downloads.lulzbot.com/lulzbot/AO-100/software/2012-Q2/configs/slic3r/point5mm.ini slic3r config file] for the AO-100 LulzBot.

=== Suggested Settings ===
Lulzbot's slic3r config has the infill density set at 0.75. Resulting prints are very sturdy as a result, but the filament consumption and print time go up because of this. It is recommended to turn it down to 0.15 or 0.25, and to increase the number of infill shells. Doing so should have a similar surface quality, but produce a print with significantly less mass.

=== Other Resources ===
[http://downloads.lulzbot.com/lulzbot/AO-100/documentation/2012Q3/ The manual is available online]. A printed form of it can be found near the printer. The manual explains how to operate the printer. Read it =)

=== Filament ===
The printer is currently configured for 3mm ABS plastic. Only use this kind of plastic. Until Aeva has a chance to upgrade the extruder, PLA can damage the hot end. Additionally, the Makerbot is not configured for 3mm ABS, and so the filament for these respective printers is currently not interchangeable.

== Saftey ==
This is by no means all possible safety instructions, just a few that might not have been covered at certification.
Unplug before changing the blade, there is a shaft lock button to assist.
For cutting wood only, inspect your piece for metal, nails,broken screws staples etc.
Move the movable portion of the fence before adjusting for a bevel cut.
Hold or clamp your work securely, use particular caution when cutting round or odd shaped pieces.
Do not cut if someone is behind the saw, pieces of wood can be thrown at high velocity.
This is most common with small cutoffs and when lifting the blade from the cut before it has stopped.
== Use ==
For miter, bevel or combination cuts in wood only.

== Specs ==
Amps 15.0 amps, No Load Speed 4,000 rpm, Blade Diameter 12 ", Arbor Size 5/8 or 1 ", 90 Degree Cross Cut Capacity (Max. Height/Resulting Width) 3-7/8 / 4-1/8 ", 90 Degree Cross Cut Capacity (Max. Width/Resulting Height) 3-7/8 / 5-7/8 ", 45 Miter Cut Capacity (Max. Height/Resulting Width) 2-3/4 / 5-7/8 ", Left 45 Degree Bevel Capacity (Max. Width/Resulting Height) 7-7/8 / 1-3/4 ", Tool Weight 40.0 lbs

== Accessories ==
Crown molding stops
Blade wrench, in a slot in the base.
Manual

== Saftey ==
== List of Currently Certified Users ==
As this is essentially the same as the other miter saw I transferred, with host permission, the certification list.
Feel free to recertify if you like.
For the vast majority of our tools (listed below), we require you 1. be a member and 2. be certified on the tool before you use it. If Certification Required = Yes on the tool's page here, then please get certified before using that tool.

You can find the list of people certified on the tool's wiki page or in hard copy near the physical location of the equipment if we haven't migrated it yet. Most folks will certify you if they have time and you ask nicely, as long as they feel qualified to. Right now, our Safety Czar (or Meister) is Dan "MeisterTek" Meyer, so contact him if you're having trouble locating someone to certify you.
