I am codersquid on github and twitter,skay on freenode, and sky on pinboard. In the past I hosted Python Office Hours but Carl does that these days.

Smoothed octagons are the worse shape you can get for tiling. it would be weird to cut some out and then try and rotate them in a physical medium.
