==About the DRC==

The DRC is a standing committee convened by the Board of Directors responsible for reviewing disputes, disciplinary matters, and potential violations of the membership agreement. The purpose of the DRC is to assist in the resolution of disputes between members, guests, and/or the organization.
We need you! Get involved at PS1! This is a great opportunity for anyone who has conflict resolution skills or a lot of patience and empathy. Though, there is no experience required for the position.


All operational information about the DRC is contained in the most recent version of the [[:File:DisputeResolutionCommittee (DRC) Doc.12.2020.pdf|governance document]].
The Dispute Resolution Committee was created when we passed our new Bylaws. It is made up of five people - 3 Board members and 2 non-Board members. We are seeking TWO non-Board members to join the Dispute Resolution Committee. The committee will meet once to go over the expectations and procedures and will then meet as needed when a member submits a request. Any questions can be sent via email to molly [at] pumpingstationone.org.
