Even though PS1 is a building sized toolbox in itself, you probably want your own gear handy when you need it. Here's suggested kit, adapt for your own needs:

General

  • Pencil
  • Permanent marker (sharpies - fine and fat tip)
  • Index cards / PostIts
  • Notebook
  • Tape Measure
  • Memory stick (for using any CNC machine, including 3D printers, as well as the arts Adobe computer)
  • Utility knife
  • Adjustable wrench
  • Socket and screwdriver kit (An interchangeable screwdriver with bits as well as a socket adapter)
  • Tape - cellophane, packing, masking, duct
  • Square (Speed square or combination)

Protection

  • Eye protection (available at PS1 but is usually smudged/dirty)
  • Ear protection
  • Lightweight N95 mask
  • Work gloves

Woodshop

  • Router bits
  • Marking gauge
