The board establishes an orientation program as the PS1 Orientation class, which must be attended within 3 months of joining. Members who have been members more than 3 months as of July 30th 2013 are grandfathered in and are not required to take the class. Those who are newer than 3 months old as members on July 30th 2013 are required to attend a PS1 Orientation class within the next 3 months, while those who join on July 31st or later have 3 months from the date they join.
This policy was established by a board vote on 8/6/2013. This is authorized by Orientation Program Policy Vote.
