The following is my understanding of the current architecture of PS:1's network. It is not normative in any way. Do not reference it. Hic Sunt Dracones!
Equipment
PS:1 uses mostly Unifi equipment. There are Unifi access points in Art/Electronics, CNC, General, and the Woodshop. The core router is a Unifi UXG. Most interlinks between access switches and the core switch are Cat5, but some switches have the capability to do a 10Gb SFP+ connection, including the core switch.
Member Rack
The Member Rack, located on the Catwalk to the left of the access door, is really two 42U racks. Each rack has two ToR Unifi switches, which are owned/managed by PS:1. The information on the Member Rack's wiki page is out of date and needs to be updated. I plan to do this SoonTM.
