Description
This is a lapidary saw with a sintered diamond blade used to cut rock and glass.

Usage
Usage and authorization is still being worked out. Important points:
- The reservoir should be filled until the blade is 1/8" covered at the bottom. More than that, the water/lubricant will splatter.
- Water is used as a cooling agent, but there is lubricant involved to help cutting. Do not dump the coolant.
- The blade is sintered, which means that the diamonds are embedded in the steel of the blade. The diamonds will eventually break off, leaving plain metal to cut with. A "dressing stone" is needed to take off excess metal to expose more embedded diamonds for cutting.
- Use gentle, continuous pressure to cut your material. Despite the name, the blade doesn't exactly saw. Instead the diamond in the blade scratches away at the material. All pressing hard will do is make the blade go dull faster since the diamond shards will be forced loose.
- The blade needs to be removed and dried after use. Failure to do so will lead to rusting.
